Description
Agusta Westland AW-109
Dimension: 37 cm long
Mahogany Wooden Model
Mahogany model, hand-crafted primarily from solid hardwood, the size of the model is 37 cm long. This model is composed of 6 easily assembled movable pieces which include the fuselage, the wings, the rudder, stabilizer and the base. The wood receives base protection which prevents drying out and cracking. Occasional cleaning maintenance with a citrus-based oil product is sufficient in keeping the collection piece beautiful even after a year after year of display in your company office or private home.
The AgustaWestland AW109, originally the Agusta A109, is a lightweight, twin-engine, eight-seat multi-purpose helicopter designed and initially produced by the Italian rotorcraft manufacturer Agusta. It was the first all-Italian helicopter to be mass-produced.[1] Its production has been continued by Agusta’s successor companies, presently Leonardo S.p.A. (formerly AgustaWestland, merged into the new Finmeccanica since 2016).[2]
