Description

Lockheed L-10A Electra

Dimension 46 cm long

Mahogany Wooden Model

Mahogany model, hand-crafted primarily from solid hardwood, the size of the model is 46 cm long, scale 1/22. This model is composed of 6 easily assembled movable pieces which include the fuselage, the wings, the rudder, stabilizer and the base. The wood receives base protection which prevents drying out and cracking. Occasional cleaning maintenance with a citrus-based oil product is sufficient in keeping the collection piece beautiful even after a year after year of display in your company office or private home.

The Lockheed Model 10 Electra is an American twin-engined, all-metal monoplane airliner developed by the Lockheed Aircraft Corporation in the 1930s to compete with the Boeing 247 and Douglas DC-2. The type gained considerable fame as one was flown by Amelia Earhart on her ill-fated around-the-world expedition in 1937.
