Mahogany Handcrafted Model

Spitfire Mahogany model, hand-crafted primarily from solid hardwood. This model is composed of 6 easily assembled movable pieces which include the fuselage, the wings, the rudder, stabilizer and the base. The wood receives base protection which prevents drying out and cracking. Occasional cleaning maintenance with a citrus-based oil product is sufficient in keeping the collection piece beautiful even after a year after year of display in your company office or private home.

The Supermarine Spitfire is a British single-seat fighter aircraft that was used by the Royal Air Force and other Allied countries before, during, and after World War II. Many variants of the Spitfire were built, using several wing configurations. It was also the only British fighter produced continuously throughout the war. The Spitfire continues to be popular among enthusiasts; around 70 remain airworthy, and many more are static exhibits in aviation museums throughout the world.
